Cloud Kicks uses the standard Account Type field to indicate different account tiers.

Rename Tabs and Labels changes supported user-facing Salesforce terminology without replacing the underlying standard field. Renaming Account Type to Tier through this setup feature preserves the existing field ' s API identity, data, reports, automation references, permissions, and integrations while improving the page-layout terminology presented to users. This is the decisive architectural point in this scenario because the Salesforce Industries model separates commercial selling concerns from fulfillment, lifecycle, and integration concerns. Creating a duplicate custom field introduces data migration and synchronization work, and a global value set changes reusable picklist values rather than the field label. The standard field itself is not renamed through the same edit mechanism used for a custom field. Using the standard capability also keeps the design supportable across releases, reduces unnecessary custom code, and makes operational behavior easier to trace during troubleshooting. From an implementation perspective, the configuration should be tested with representative product structures and transaction volumes so that rules, mappings, and downstream dependencies behave exactly as intended. The resulting design is therefore both functionally correct and aligned with the managed Communications Cloud operating model.
