Which outcomes are possible during the Fit-to-Standard process in SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing?

TheFit-to-Standard (F2S)process is a key step in SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing implementation methodology. It evaluates the alignment of SAP Best Practices with the customer’s existing processes. The possible outcomes include:

If the standard SAP Ariba solution supports the customer’s process, that process is adopted, and the configuration is documented in thebacklog(Answer B).

If no standard or alternate process fits the requirement, the gap is identified, and the functional requirement is documented for resolution during aDelta Design Workshop(Answer A).

If the standard solution does not directly fit, the consultant may choose toprototype an alternate processusing standard configuration capabilities (Answer D).

Replacing all customer processes with SAP Best Practicesis not mandatory. Customers may keep non-standard processes if feasible alternatives are defined or configured.
