 According to the BABOK® Guide, one of the tasks of the business analyst (BA) during requirements analysis and design definition is to specify and model requirements. This involves defining and documenting the characteristics and behavior of a solution that meets stakeholder needs. One of the techniques that can be used for this task is abstraction, which is the process of removing or suppressing details to focus on essential characteristics.
