Huawei NetEngine AR6120 and AR6121 routers provide modular hardware expansion through service interface card slots.

Both models support two Service Interface Card (SIC) slots. These slots accommodate compatible interface modules that extend the router ' s connectivity and service capabilities.

An important hardware design feature is that two adjacent SIC slots can be combined into one Wide Service Interface Card (WSIC) slot.

This is achieved by removing the guide rail separating the SIC slots, permitting installation of a compatible larger interface card.

The combined slot uses the designated slot identifier specified in the hardware documentation.

This modular arrangement provides flexibility when selecting interface modules for enterprise WAN connectivity and network expansion.

Huawei ' s hardware specifications confirm that the two SIC slots can be combined into one WSIC slot.

Therefore, the statement is TRUE.
