One valid mapping is:
Site 1 → Site 2
Site 2 → Site 1
Site 3 → Site 4
Site 4 → Site 3
In BGP/MPLS IP VPN networks, communication between VPN sites depends on matching Route Target attributes.
A VPN instance imports a route when the advertised Export RT matches its configured Import RT. For bidirectional connectivity, the RT relationship must permit routing information in both directions.
VPN1 exports RT 200:1, which VPN2 imports. VPN2 exports RT 100:1, which VPN1 imports. Therefore, Site 1 and Site 2 can communicate.
VPN3 exports RT 300:1, which VPN4 imports. VPN4 exports RT 200:1, which VPN3 imports. Therefore, Site 3 and Site 4 can communicate.
Verification note: The exhibit also permits bidirectional communication between Site 1 and Site 3. Therefore, the drag-and-drop is not uniquely determined if only one match per site is permitted. The mapping above is valid, but it is not the only valid mapping.
