HPDA workloads are heterogeneous and cannot be satisfied by capacity alone. Autonomous-driving pipelines include acquisition, preprocessing, AI training, simulation, and validation. Different stages produce radically different I/O patterns: large sequential files demand high bandwidth, while massive numbers of small files and metadata operations require high IOPS/OPS. The workflow also uses different access protocols, making NFS/CIFS/HDFS and related protocol interoperability important for preventing re peated copies between storage silos.
