Netskope’s Cloud Sandbox performs dynamic analysis on suspicious files to detect zero-day malware and advanced threats. When the sandbox identifies a malicious file, the detection is recorded as a malware event with the detection engine field set to “Netskope Cloud Sandbox.” To view all instances of sandbox-detected malware, the administrator should navigate to Incidents > Malware in the Netskope tenant UI and apply the filter query: detection_engine eq ’Netskope Cloud Sandbox’. This scopes the results to only those malware incidents identified specifically by the sandbox engine, excluding signature-based or machine learning-based detections. Skope IT Alerts and Page Events would contain some event data but are not the primary and structured location for malware incident investigation and reporting.
