Ethical research practices require safeguarding participant privacy, setting clear codes of conduct, establishing data storage policies, and proper informed consent. In the Platform Strategy Designer context, this question belongs primarily to Value Design. In Value Design, the strategy designer links validated human needs to business outcomes and external context, then defines measurable signals that show whether the intended value is actually being created. Ethical research requires safeguards across the entire research lifecycle. Clear conduct expectations, trained researchers, informed participation, and responsible data handling protect participant dignity, privacy, and trust while reducing the risk that useful insight is obtained through harmful or inappropriate practices. Here, A code of conduct, ethics training, and a research data handling policy is the strongest choice because it most directly matches the outcome, constraint, or decision described in the scenario. The other choices may be useful in a different stage or for a different question, but they do not address the central requirement as directly. A hypothesis, project plan, and financial reimbursement for users focuses attention elsewhere, while A customer journey map, research scenario, and a RAID log addresses a related concern without providing the same fit to the scenario ' s stated objective.
