 According to the PMBOK Guide, 6th edition, one of the key processes of the Project Stakeholder Management knowledge area is Manage Stakeholder Engagement, which involves communicating and working with stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations, address issues, and foster appropriate stakeholder involvement. One of the inputs for this process is the stakeholder engagement plan, which identifies the strategies and actions to promote productive involvement of stakeholders in project decisions and activities.
