A Revenue Cloud Consultant is setting up the amendment process for assets in Revenue Cloud.

The asset-amendment lifecycle is driven by Revenue Management transaction records and lifecycle actions rather than directly by Opportunity stage changes. Salesforce ' s lifecycle APIs and migration guidance reinforce that asset changes are derived from lifecycle transactions rather than from Opportunity stage automation.

Option B therefore incorrectly bypasses core quote/order transaction management. Closing an Opportunity does not directly rewrite the lifecycle-managed Asset. Option C invents a conditional requirement based on price increase; Revenue Management does not make Opportunity mandatory solely because an amendment increases price.
