Netskope’s Event Streaming feature enables the delivery of HTTP transaction logs in near real-time to external consumers such as SIEMs, data lakes, or analytics platforms. Unlike the REST API polling approach which retrieves batches of events after they have been indexed, Event Streaming pushes log data continuously as events occur, minimizing latency between user activity and external system visibility. This feature is particularly valuable for Security Operations Center (SOC) use cases where timely detection and response depend on minimal event processing delay. The Splunk TA, Cloud Exchange, and REST API v2 each serve different integration purposes and do not offer the same near real-time streaming capability that the Event Streaming feature provides natively in Netskope.
